Here is what worries me: kids are listening to the news and the way people are treating and talking to each other. Then, they are carrying this into schools and into their homes. We are role-modeling poorly. What are our kids copying? Harassment, bullying, offensive rhetoric, fighting, hidden agendas, mini-purges. No wonder classrooms are all a flutter. Distrust and distain and disrespect are surrounding us.
