Last week, Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson posted an open letter to all US employees, detailing his company’s strategy for the following months in response to the ongoing pandemic. Starbucks has a major advantage in that they’ve already been through this situation. The company currently has over 4,200 stores throughout mainland China, where the novel coronavirus was first identified. In China, over 95% of these stores have now successfully reopened.
