I became a huge fan of IKEA when my wife introduced me to the company 10 years ago. Among other things, we both love their designs (most of the time), along with the fact that you don't have to wait for a piece of furniture once you find it. (And you can't beat their meatballs.) I was skeptical, though, upon hearing about IKEA's change in strategy, which involves building smaller stores in urban areas and a recent acquisition of freelance labor site Taskrabbit.
