Without trust, there can be no love, no friendship, no lasting connection between people. But where there is trust, there is motivation to act. If you trust someone is looking after your best interests, you will do almost anything that person asks of you. So, how can you build trust? By doing the following: 1. Listen 1st. 2. Show empathy. 3. Be authentic. 4. Set the example. 5. Be helpful. 6. Disagree and commit. 7. Be humble. 8. Be transparent. 9. Commend sincerely and specifically. Of course, some of these are easier said than done.
