Hi LinkedIn friends, I need your help! [UPDATE: Thx to everyone for your comments--extremely helpful!! Two more questions: 1. How about a variation of the heart in lightbulb, as suggested by Selam Ghebre below? 2. Joshua Plenert got me thinking about a concept that I cover in the book, that emotional intelligence can look different from person to person (e.g., different strengths/weaknesses, no single stereotype for someone w/ high EQ). Any ideas for how to convey that visually?] My book "EQ, Applied: The Real-World Guide to Emotional Intelligence" is getting close to launch, and the design team is hard at work on cover ideas. I'm attached to the picture below (this version is from my website), but they're afraid the "heart inside brain" is too similar to some other EQ book covers out there and that it might not stand out. (Although I've seen other books with that type of imagery, I think it's different enough...but I'm curious to hear from you all!) So, two questions for you: 1. What do you think of a variation of the image/text below for the book's cover? 2. What type of image would you suggest as an alternative? Thanks in advance for your help!
