Dear #Starbucks baristas: What do you think about this: https://lnkd.in/d8BcnX5 I read this BI article with interest as I'm very curious to see how Starbucks fares under the leadership of a new CEO. According to the article, there's a major disconnect between upper management and the in-store experience...namely that many employees feel stores are understaffed and lacking support. However, I've heard reports from other Starbucks employees that say the opposite. One claimed the piece was a "poorly researched article," and went on to say that in the meetings mentioned in the piece, Starbucks Corp. and local leadership "took responsibility for setting the wrong priorities, didn't blame baristas and that managers are bending over left and right to try and make their baristas feel appreciated and recognized." This person placed blame on "a few bad apples." Since I write frequently on Starbucks and follow the company closely, I'd love to hear from you all.
