Even if Comcast has the "room" to raise fees, they are shooting themselves in the foot from a brand perspective. You know who also charged fees? Blockbuster . This move can easily tip people who are thinking about cutting the cord (even if they can afford it) because they'll feel like they are getting screwed over by the cable company...again.
