Been posting a while about the way QVC / HSN style live streaming has become more and more prevalent. As well as wondering when narrative-driven shopping would arrive. Well, as Connie Chan points out, it is much more than just "selling stuff" it's about the melding of entertainment, commerce, and content - it's Shopatainment. And before you chuckle and move on, realize that it is a $137B industry in China. Anything that generates that kind of money will most definitely be tried outside of Asia. As an aside, I love the term Shopatainment.
