what should for-profit corporations pursue? i am at a loss to find something else than profits for the benefit of shareholders. the stakeholder narrative is fraught with risks. first by-laws need to be changed to minimize legal issues. second, who will define & manage trade offs between stakeholders? better to rely on a set of constraints on the corporation (or the marketplace, or the protocol), well defined and enforced. …see more
