Interesting read on how UPS is leveraging tech to be a lot more efficient. And while they acknowledge Amazon 's strengths, they also do a little dismissing too. Which they shouldn’t. Remember how Blockbuster dismissed Netflix until it was too late?

It seems like a no-brainer way to gain consumer options would for Waymo to offer tiered subscription plans rather per ride like a taxi, Uber , or Lyft .  As I wrote this I received an email from Lyft with an interesting twist on a subscription -I can pay $2 a month to lock-in consistent rates on my top route - interesting approach but that’s not how I use ridesharing. At any rate, this is an interesting profile of one family's use of the pilot program in Arizona.
