W/ all the tragedies surrounding us (hurricanes, earthquakes, Las Vegas massacre among them), I simply don't understand how the Cabinet Secretaries are behaving. They're "flying high" as if intoxicated by power. It is costing taxpayers, taking time and attention away from real problems and solutions. Consider these examples: visiting Mermaid sculpture in Denmark, attending the Women's Final at Wimbledon (w/ one's wife + others), cruising down rivers, seeing the Eclipse (but not admitting that goal), flights on private/gov/military transport. Tell me: why is this acceptable? Why has only Dr. Price resigned? Apology anyone? How would wounded Vets feel if they knew what Dr. Shulkin was doing abroad for 10 days? How would Vets whose families fell apart post-deployment feel knowing their leader was, on gov. dime, enjoying time w/ his spouse abroad? How would those w/o food, water, roads and bridges in PR feel about Secretaries using improper transport? I think we need to deal w/ this racket. Seriously, let's have a "Take a Racket to Work Day." Everyone in and out of government brings a tennis racket to work, symbolic of Dr. Shulkin's tennis boondoggle and the absurdity of how Secretaries are behaving amidst real crises in the world. A protest w/ power.
