ok folks, most entrenched payment companies with older tech are doomed if they do not innovate themselves into a new paradigm. FIS or Fiserv will find it very difficult to survive by acquiring volume only for example - having acquired WordPay & First Data respectively. the same holds for banks. bank mergers will not achieve much intrinsically - see Deutsche & Commerz talks. the same applies to most if not all sectors in financial services. #fintech #innovate #banking #financialservices #payments …see more
